Egyptian Stone Head - Egyptian Stone Head, of a honorable, with deeply carved ornaments, in light brown stone, damages, parts missing, on French bronze and marble base from the 18th century, 40 cm high

Early 18th c. Rome, reliquary crucifix in ebony, lapis lazuli, marble, silver, gilt bronze and silver. It features a Christ, titulus and bones in chased silver on an ebony and lapis lazuli cross, adorned at the ends and cross arms in silvered and gilded bronze, decorated with fleurons and foliage. The base is also in lapis lazuli veneer and black marble; on the front of the base, a relic of the Cross in a silvered medallion surrounded by a crown of thorns gilt bronze crown of thorns. DOUBLEEN" AMPHORA WITH BLACK-FIGURE NECK The body is decorated on side A with a scene of Dionysus between two maenads, and on side B with satyrs and maenads. The neck is decorated with three inverted palmettes; double handles are black-glazed on the outside. The decoration, framed by palmettes, rests on a red line. Under the handles: linked palmettes and lotus flowers. At the bottom of the body: lines of dots and radiating edges. Flat black-glazed foot with circular red line and molded rim. The inner part is reserved and bears two letters ΣΟ (workshop or transporter). Black-glazed orange clay with white and red highlights. Greek art, Attica, early 5th c. BC. MINIATURE RED-FIGURE OENOCHOE (CHOUS) WITH THREE-LOBED MOUTH FROM THE ANTHESTERIAS The body features a young child at play. Behind him, a piece of furniture. On the ground, an oenochoe. During the anthesteria festival, in honor of Dionysus, children were allowed to drink wine from these small vessels, made especially for them and decorated with childlike themes. STEEL JAR Adorned with a pair of concentric circles resembling eyes, arranged on either side of the collar. They are centered on a dot and underlined by dots (one isolated dot); they are framed by a double line resting on a band at the lower part of the shoulder. Painted bands and hatches on the shoulder. GEOMETRIC AMPHORA Light brown, buff-colored clay. The neck rises and widens slightly. Neck: between bands and horizontal lines, a frieze of chevrons, a frieze of herons and a band of reserved meanders. Shoulder: nipple-shaped protuberances on either side of the handles. Handles: double St. Andrew's Cross between horizontal lines. Body between handles: panel design; two vertical panels of squared rhombuses between three parallel fillets, framing a central horizontal panel of single-crenellated cross-hatched meanders facing right, between three parallel horizontal fillets. KOTA Reliquary (ZAIRE) Reliquary figure in wood covered with brass plates. The perimeter of the mask and around the face are hammered in repoussé relief, the eyebrows hammered in hollow. The mask is crowned with a crescent, inverted under the chin. Height 51.5cm (accidents, wear and tear, missing left horn of upper crescent) confer: Josef Mueller Collection. Christie's March 20, 1979. N° 134. An identical KOTA reliquary by the same artist (with the same accidents and missing parts) sold in Versailles on March 16, 1997.

RELIGIOSA Suite of THREE FRAMED PIECES from the second half of the 19th century - Reliquary comprising eighteen relics of named saints (?) framing a cross in composite material and gilded paper, H. 31.5 D. 24.5 cm (when viewed) ; - Virgin of Wilno, painted face and hands, framed by a gilded metal silhouette. Oval view frame, H. 25 D. 21 cm (on view); - Painted porcelain plaque depicting Joan of Arc with her standard in a stuccoed and gilded wood frame embellished with a red velvet passe partout, H. 10.5 W. 7.5 cm (on view, for the plaque).

RARE FEMALE JANIFORM FIGURINE (LID TOP?) On either side, the faces are framed by a sort of veil with a scalloped border. Each side features a choker. The base is surrounded by a band of chevrons and a band of crosshatching. A hole is present at the top. Ochre terracotta with white slip and ochre or black highlights (base missing).
