Windecker, Adolf Sammlung von ca. 52 Briefen u. Postkarten vorwiegend von Katja Windecker, Ehefrau des deutschen Generalkonsuls Dr. Adolf Windecker (1891-1974) in Singapur. 1938-1939. Meist mit Briefumschlägen, meist Marken entfernt, tls. zensiert - Singapore Windecker, Adolf Collection of ca. 52 letters and postcards mainly from Katja Windecker, wife of the German Consul General Dr. Adolf Windecker (1891-1974) in Singapore. 1938-1939. mostly with envelopes, mostly stamps removed, partly censored Contains eh. Private mail mainly from Windecker's wife to her mother-in-law I. von Büchler in Berlin mostly from Singapore as well as from various hotels (Annam, Baden-Baden). Hotels (Annam, Baden-Baden, Siemréap (Angkor), Bremen, Cameron Highlands) and from the ship 'Gneisenau' on corresponding stationery from the outward journey to Singapore and return journey at the outbreak of the 2nd World War. Also letters from a trip to Indochina Cambodia. - Unique correspondence of the diplomatic couple with lots of background information about life as a diplomat in Asia. - Adolf von Windecker subsequently worked as a representative for the Foreign Office, including 1941 with the Reichskommissar in Riga, and in 1944 he organized the exchange of prisoners of war in Constance. - Includes: 12 small OPhotographs and 4 newspaper cuttings. POSTCARDS A set of some thirty different postcards, mostly from Marseille. Expert : Isabelle CAZEILS

Camille Le Mercier d'Erm (1888-1978), poet, historian, Breton nationalist. Set of 5 L.A.S., ca. 1928, 8p in-4 and 2p in-12. Nice friendly set to Madame Régina Hervé. The 3 L.A.S. on in-4 sheets (2, 2 and 4p) are long, friendly letters in which he talks about his travels in Brittany or a favor he asks her to do for his publisher. The other 2 L.A.S. are on postcards, one a signed thought, the other a souvenir from Brocéliande on which he copies a piece of Robert de Baron's story. Attached: a signed CPA, two autograph poems signed "Ballade pour un album royal" (dedicated to R Hervé) and an untitled poem addressed to "M'Amie", i.e. Régina Hervé (this is how he addresses her in letters). Attached are 7 signed typescript poems (with a few rare corrections), 16p in-4 and 1p in-8: Chanter et vivre, C'était un poète Breton, Pour les pipeaux, Dans la lumière du soir, Le crépuscule des chouans, Des ailes, La Bretagne et la neige. Very interesting set.
