Anglo-Indian School.Circa 1850. It consists of an important folding board with central hinges, made with ivory plates engraved with floral motifs on a wooden core. On its main face it shows the dámero on which the game is developed, and on the back face it presents a central lowered area, in natural wood, on which the box containing the 32 chips is adapted, (also made in ivory with wood core) to be able to keep it occupying a smaller space and in a very decorative and elegant way. The CITES certificate is enclosed. Measures open: 53,5 x 53,5 x 2 cm. Size closed: 53.5 x 26 x 4 cm. Box dimensions: 17,5 x 35 x 8 cm.

Circa 1840. 32 x 48.5 x 9 cm. (Box somewhat bumped, slightly damaged, slightly stained and dusty, the cover ill. more heavily rubbed, stained, with missing parts). The cover ill. shows a couple with 5 playing children. - Contains approx. 250 monochrome building elements: columns (23 x 2 cm) as well as numerous cubes, cuboids, etc. - Cf. Leinweber "Baukästen" p. 37, plate 36 (here similar model, but less extensive). - Without building instructions. - Probably only 1 block missing, a few blocks slightly damaged. Overall in good condition and very rare as an almost complete and extensive Biedermeier building set.

Overall in very good condition. Hand-colored chalk lithograph heightened with gum arabic by Trentsensky after Franz Kollarz, with decorative mounted border. Mounted on wood.
