Model of the Cuirassé "Richelieu" in metal on a wooden base in a glass display case, on the base is a plaque with the engraving "Des amis du Musée de la Marine". H. 32 cm L. Display case 93 cm Created in 1935 as France's answer to the Italian Littorio class, the Richelieu class was based on its immediate predecessors, the Dunkerque-class battleships. In 1940, while at the Brest naval base, she narrowly escaped the German advance and sailed to Dakar. In 1943, she crossed the Atlantic to New York for a refit and modernization. She then operated in the North Sea and Indian Ocean for the British-led Free French from 1943 to 1945. Retired from the French Navy on September 30, 1967 and renamed Q432, she was sold in 1968 to the Genoese shipbreaker Cantion Navali Santa Maria.

Scale naval architecture model of a war brig from the First Empire period, hull in hollowed-out and painted wood. Deck with figured and varnished battens. Inside bulwarks stained red with openings for 20 cannons. Varnished pre-crafts. Toilet compartment in the stern, bronze steering wheel, panels and grating on the hatches. Capstan, windlass, mast passage with racks. Canoe supports. Chainplates and cap-de-moutons (some missing and restored). Wooden and bronze anchor. Part of the bowsprit. Bronze numerals at the waterline. High-quality 19th-century work L. 170 cm. D. 40 cm. "These fast, maneuverable English or French Revolutionary-Empire-era ships were generally used for forcing blockades, thwarting coastguards, racing, coasting, etc.".

Nicolas Jacques (Jarville, 1780 - Paris, 1844) Portrait of Major Joseph Jacques, his wife Henriette and their daughter Victorine Miniature signed on the right. Height 31.5 Width 23 cm. (accidents and missing parts, as is) Provenance: through family descent, Tours. Second lieutenant in the 6th Horse Artillery Regiment, Joseph Jacques (Nancy, 1778- Paris, 1844) took part in the campaigns of the Sambre et Meuse armies in 1797-98, then the Danube in 1799. On March 25 of that year, a cannonball took his left thigh during the battle of Stockach. Amputated the same day, he was put in charge of inspecting the Sampigny construction park in 1811, then stranded on the Vistula until 1813, when he was taken prisoner by Prussia. Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur on June 22, 1804, he was made Chevalier de Saint-Louis on January 31, 1815. Here, he poses in front of his brother's easel with his wife Henriette Julliet (1776-1871) and their daughter Victorine (1806-1906), probably around 1808-1809. Nicolas Jacques, a pupil of David and Isabey, was considered one of the finest miniature painters of his time, exhibiting at the Salon from 1804 to 1840 and working in Bonapartist circles before becoming the portraitist of the Orléans family.190

Circa 1909 Size of display case: 56 x 230 x 26 cm L. model 190 cm She was built in 1909 by Sir Raylton Dixon & Co, Cleveland Dockyard, Middlesborough, England for Delmas Freres, La Rochelle, France. The freighter was sold in 1913 to shipowners Mathiesens in Berge, Norway, and was renamed SS Imataca 07.02. 1915 in the North Atlantic while on a ballast voyage from Bergen (Norway) to Baltimore (USA). She was abandoned shipwrecked.

Model of the J-Class "Endeavour Mahogany base with display case 20th century Size of display case 100 x 78 x 27 cm The S/Y "Endeavour" was designed by Charles Ernest Nicholson and built with a steel hull by Camper & Nicholson in 1934. She was equipped with pioneering features such as the quadrilateral genoa, a double clew headsail and modern four-speed winches. She failed in her America's Cup challenge against the American defender. "Rainbow", but came closer to lifting the cup than any other until Australia II succeeded in 1983. The result of the race gave rise to the headline "Britannia rules the waves and America waves the rules. "SY" Endeavour underwent a complete restoration from 1984 to 1989 by the shipyard. Royal Huisman in Holland and another in New Zealand in 2014.
