One of 500 on Mittineague-Mill (n. 406, not very readable). Superb text which contains some unforgettable verses and which will be part of all subsequent editions of "Charmes". Ref. Karaïskakis & Chapon 20. Copy accompanied by 2 autographs: 1. Postcard in his likeness, to Dr. Ludo Van Bogaert. Paris, postmarks (hardly legible). He thanks him for his good wishes, regrets having missed his visit in November and announces his visit to Brussels on January 26th. L. Van Bogaert (1897-1989) was an eminent Belgian neurologist and bibliophile. - 2. quick note in blue pencil concerning a proof. And 3 picture albums containing 38 (23, 11, 4) amateur photographs n/bl by Dr. Marie-Louise Berrewaerts: 1. 18 x 14.5 cm. Blue cloth bradel. - 2-3. 21,5 x 15,5 cm. In a cover imitating that of the original edition above. Views of his birthplace in Sete, the cemetery, his grave, etc. Carefully compiled albums with a few typed captions. The set also contains, flying, on the same theme: 2 postcards aut. non s. to Mrs. Demanet-Ledent, apparently the sponsor of the photos and to Dr. Bardiaux. - 1 other postcard. - 7 photos in b/w or in color. - 4 documents with "first day" stamp (10/7/1954) including 1 official envelope. - 2 stamps stuck on 1 f. of which 1 cancelled.
