A gilt bronze or varnished clock in the form of a simulated vase with a gadrooned lid and a satyr mask holding intertwined snakes; pedestal with a laurel base; it is presented on a white marble base with a mascaron and interlacing frieze. The enamelled dial signed Cronier in Paris indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in increments of five in Arabic numerals. End of the 19th century. H: 65-W: 37-D: 33 cm
