A "portico" clock in chased and gilt bronze, white and black marble; the mantle decorated with a Cupid in clouds; the cover supporting vases laden with fruit rests on four fluted columns; the terrace with a projection presenting two allegorical statuettes; the movement underlined by olive branches holding a "Wedgwood" medallion by a ribbon. The dial, signed Le Brin in Paris, indicates the hours and minutes in Arabic numerals, as well as the date and days of the week. Louis XVI period (chips, missing parts and restorations).
