Carpet decorated with royal crowns, quivers, large scrolls and oval borders in savonnerie stitch, 20th century. This carpet is in the style of the 95 carpets in the Grande Galerie of the Louvre, intended to illustrate the royal magnificence and woven for Louis XIV between 1665 and 1685 by the Manufacture de la Savonnerie.
