Cosey :

A la recherche de Peter Pan, plate n°69 in Indian ink from the second episode of this diptych published by Editions du Lombard in 1985. This story tells a few weeks of the life of an English writer, who came to seek inspiration in a Swiss village threatened by the collapse of a glacier. Here the artist pushes the introspective character of his work. The character puts together a family puzzle and also pursues a dream of harmony in love. On a graphic level, this composition demonstrates a great mastery of black and white. The artist plays with light like a director, influenced by his masters Milton Caniff and Hugo Pratt. Everything is shadows, silhouettes and masses of black among which a few glimmers of light infiltrate. The silhouette and faces of Evolena, the heroine, capture our gaze and dazzle us masterfully. Superb! Signed. Size : 34,5 x 45.
