JAPON PÉRIODE EDO, XVIIIE - DÉBUT XIXE SIÈCLE

A small black lacquer three-square inro, decorated in gold, red and black hiramaki-e with two shishi, one on a rock with peonies at its feet; the interior in black lacquer and fundame. With a netsuke in ivory with brown highlights, representing a family of toads on a lotus leaf (20th century). Dim. inrô : 6,2 x 5,3 cm (Inrô : small chips around the edges, small lacquer gaps, wear along the edges, tarnished surface)
