Kakemono in colours and gold highlights on midnight blue silk, depicting the Buddha Amida Bosatsu haloed and standing on clouds, hands in varada mudra, surrounded by celestial musicians and bearers of offerings, the perimeter of the painting outlined with lotus scrolls and two long inscriptions: "This painting is said to have been given by Yukandaitsu in memory of Ryônin Shônin (1073-1132), who became Nyorai in 1117, founded the Yuzu nenbutsu shu, and was the 46th abbot of the Dainenbutsu-ji in Settsu no Kuni Hirano.» Mounted on two strips of silk brocade; cream and gold; and green and gold.
