Cassone panel in walnut carved in high relief with gilding. In the center, a mirror curved on a cartouche in cut leather surmounting a grimacing mask; on both sides, developing in a symmetrical way, foliated scrolls animated by putti, some holding a chimeric creature, the others stretching one of their legs towards a winged and horned mask. Nice interpretation and patina. Northern Italy, mid 16th century Height: 19 cm - Length: 84 cm In a moulded frame and blackened wood, Height: 29 cm - Length: 94,2 cm (slight lack of a scroll)
