Ⓐ AN ARAB SWORD (NIMCHA), AN INDIAN AXE, A DETACHED SWORD BLADE, A SCABBARD FOR A TALWAR AND TWO LANCE SHOES, 19TH CENTURY the first with curved blade, characteristic iron hilt (loose), and carved horn grip; the second with iron axe-head formed with a series of grooves along the back-edge on each face, silvered bracket decorated with foliage, on its brass-mounted wooden haft; the third curved, double-edged towards the point, with a brief inscription on one face at the forte; the fourth for a talwar, of leather-covered wood, with white metal mounts; the fifth each with slender conical spike, globular moulding, tapering socket and a pair of short straps the first: 75.4 cm; 29 3/4 in blade (5) Property from the Anthony Dove Collection (1938-2021) Part proceeds to benefit Westminster Abbey
