Miniature timouride

Album page consisting of a miniature framed by a wide gold stencil margin. The painting depicts a sovereign to whom a woman presents a wine cup; behind him stand two musicians. Their faces, with their altaic features, stand out against a cameo of green. The margins are composed of arabesques punctuated with feline and canine heads. (Repeints).
