Jacket of a court dress in embroidered piece, probably China for Europe, Louis XV period, circa 1750-1760, white silk satin embroidered with a border and garlands of roses and peonies in gold thread enhanced with sequins and cannetille underlining the front of both sides, the pockets and pocket flaps and cuffs. A rare testimony, on this uncut garment are traces of pattern in chalk. The embroidered parts are lined on the back with a cheesecloth, L. 223 cm, width of width 73 cm, yellow striped edges.
