Limited edition of 255 copies, this one unnumbered on Arches, with the engraving by Kurt Seligmann as frontispiece. Signed autograph letter (old trace of dedication on the upper edge) : "to Robert Valançay, to the bird-niter / who live in the lighthouse of vertigo / very affectionately / Georges Hugnet and Kurt Seligmann / 1938". Robert Valançay (1903-1984), French author and translator, is notably the author of L'Oiseau-nitre published by Sagesse.
