BOURDOUXHE - QUENEAU (Raymond), typewritten and signed letter in-12 on the letterhead of the NRF dated March 25, 1948 addressed to Madeleine Bourdouxe [sic]: "As I feared, Mr. Gallimard has taken a very reserved attitude towards your manuscript: "Un clou, une rose" [...] In spite of the very favourable opinion I had given". It was Paulhan who had his masterpiece, "La Femme de Gilles" published by Gallimard in 1937. Preserved envelope.
