EXCEPTIONAL LOUIS XV BUREAU PLAT, with ormolu mounted purplewood and rosewood parquetry. First Half od the 18th century. The shaped rectangular top is inset with a gilt tooled leather writing surface and surrounded by an ormolu rim marked at the cornes with foliate clasps. The shaped frieze contains three drawers in the front and is raised on cabriole legs topped by ormolu espagnolette heads which continue down to the ormolu sabots.
