IMPORTANT black printed pipe clay SERVICE decorated by STONE, COQUEREL AND LEGROS D'ANIZY representing decorations taken from engravings: archaeology or geography (monuments of Paris, French castles, English castles, map of a French department), history (feats of Antiquity), mythology (muses, gods or goddesses) and literature with the Fables of La Fontaine. The wing of the pieces is decorated mainly with trophies, signs of the zodiac, flowery puddles with baskets of flowers and snakes, then cartouches with views and for another part of vine shoots and landscapes with riders and dogs. Black thread on the edge on both sides of these decorations. In the center, the scenes are represented in round or oval medallions. It includes 121 pieces including : - Two oval dishes Vue de l'Arc de Triomphe and Renaud et Armide, trophy wing and views of monuments. L. 46,5 cm ; L. 52 cm - An oval dish Château de Rainham, wing with flowered puddles. L. 41,5 cm - An oval dish Vue de l'École Militaire, wing decorated with views, horsemen and carriages on horseback.
