Lamquet Chris/Quasar. Original drawing made for an advertising poster related to recycling illustrating the character of "Molmol" from the SF series with the Biömes. India ink and graphite around 1990. Rare. TBE+. 36 X 51 cm Chris Lamquet was born in 1954 in Andenne (Belgium). In 1974 he joined the studio of Edouard Aidans where he participated in humorous series published in the Journal "Tintin". In 1982, he creates "Quasar" as a complete author for the weekly "Spirou". In 1991, he publishes in the monthly magazine "À Suivre" L' Amour Hologramme which will be released in the collection "Romans à suivre" by Casterman. In 2007, he published with the manga publisher Kana, the comic book Io Memories, a space opera in one volume that had been ordered several years earlier by a Japanese publisher. He mixes the space adventures of his hero, a spaceship pilot, and his android companion with autobiographical questions about his profession as an author. At the end of 2009, the album Flu will be released, a comic book created for the European Community's Directorate General for Research, and which will be translated into several languages. Chris Lamquet renews the science-fiction comic strip and introduces a visionary dimension. Effective and in phase with the great questions of today, his stories are also illustrated in a precise and original style. During the 10th festival of comics and children's books in Andenne (September 2003 - Belgium), Chris Lamquet was awarded the Prize of the City of Andenne for his work.
