Description

Buchet Philippe/Original drawing illustrating a young female warrior (Nävis?) who killed an impressive opponent, made for the "Crayonnés 2" portfolio. Work of great quality executed entirely in graphite in 2000. Nice collector's item. Rare. TBE+. 33 X 50 cm Philippe Buchet was born in 1962 in Juniville, in the Ardennes. In Reims, he became an independent illustrator and worked for various communication companies where he realized works of internal communication, presented in the form of comics. Through this company, he met Jean David Morvan who proposed him to collaborate to Nomad. He then decides to work part-time to devote himself to drawing in a workshop and works with Morvan on a science fiction comic project for Delcourt: Sillage. The series was a great success, and Buchet then paid tribute to Nävis, his main character, twice: first in 2005, with Blockbuster, where he created an infinite number of costumes, hairstyles and even vehicles for her; then more recently, by publishing an art-book containing 1,000 portraits of this beautiful and mischievous heroine, from sketches to color drawings. Also thanks to this same series Sillage, Philippe Buchet won twice the Essentiel jeunesse prize in Angoulême.
