Very good condition, needs to be restarted. French CG The MZ is what one could call a legendary motorbike. The motorcycling policy of Eastern European countries is to produce eminently rustic two (or three) wheelers. Performance was therefore sacrificed to endurance and reliability. In 1973, at the same time as the ES series with Earles-type front suspension and a large suspended front fender, the TS (for "Trophy Sprint") with a much more conventional telescopic front fork were produced; the aesthetics brought them closer to Western production. Well suspended, tireless and without problems, the rustic MZ 125 TS benefits from a strong argument, in 1977, it is sold at 2 860 F while a 125 Honda is worth 4000! Air cooled 2-stroke vertical single cylinder engine - 123 cm3 (52 x 58 mm) - 10 hp/6 000 rpm - Mixed lubrication - Battery/coil ignition - 4 speed gearbox - Kick start - Primary gear transmission, secondary chain transmission - Single cradle frame - Front telescopic, rear oscillating suspension - Front tyres 2,75 x 18", rear 3,00 x 18 - 109 kg - 100 km/h. The MZ 125 TS didn't have the technical sophistication of a Japanese bike: it was made to ride in often difficult conditions with the least possible worry for the user. It will take you to work or on holiday as a duo with weapons and luggage without any problem, as long as you are not in a hurry, in a very acceptable comfort. Its range reaches 400 kilometres, which is not a luxury as you will have to fill up with a mixture. The lighting, compared to the machines of the time in its category (Honda N and T2, Suzuki GT...) is the most efficient. The chassis provides a very good road holding provided you choose a good tyre.
