When you look at a "24", you can't help but wonder why there was no follow-up. The Panhard 24 was presented to the press on 24 June 1963. The type 24 is derived from the number of victories the brand has had at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, at least as far as the engine is concerned. The new model is low and angular and takes the form of a two-door, four-window coupé. With its distinctive front end and flat roof, it really looks the part. The glass area is huge with the slim pillars supporting the roof. The engine is the prestigious air-cooled flat-twin. The first cars rolled off the production line at the end of 1963. For the 1965 model year, the most important change was the adoption of new front disc brakes. Braking was improved at once. The 24 CT is the "sport" version with the 60 HP Tiger engine. A rev counter completes the instrumentation. Even if this last model is technically successful, the Ivry firm will produce the last Panhard 24 in September 1967. This was the end of the brand's civilian life. Registered for the first time in July 1964, this 24 CT is presented in a beautiful aesthetic state accentuated by its red paintwork well spread out over the whole of the bodywork up to its 15 inch rims. With its futuristic bodywork, still very much in fashion, this model does not go unnoticed.
