PROVENANCE Private collection, France. "In 1914, [Isadora Duncan] set up one of her dance schools in Meudon, not far from Paris and Rodin's house. Rodin's visits are attested to, but there is no trace of any works by him. On the other hand, an important series of gouaches testifies that Auburtin, as with Loïe Fuller's troupe, liked to draw Isadora Duncan's disciples, some of them qualified as 'Isadorables'."
