On the back of the cardboard, wet stamp of the photographer : " photograph by Penn " and wet stamp of Condé Nast publications. Provenance : Daniel Salem collection, former president of Condé Nast International. To our knowledge, no portrait of C. Bérard by Irving Penn has ever been presented at auction. Our print, with two emblematic figures from Vogue magazine (produced by Condé Nast) as model and author, was displayed in the office of the president of Condé Nast International.
