Printed on the back of the cardboard: "Savage and Ottinger / Great Salt Lake City/ Utah" and handwritten indication: "Pouwens". Only one other copy of this view was found in an auction at Cowan's, Cincinnati, U.S.A. on June 8, 2007. This print was handwritten on the back: "Cheyenn indian delegation to Brigham Young, dec. 1865". Brigham Young, leader of the Mormons, but also governor of Utah, was - as such - in charge of Indian affairs.
