Marked Moderato, in D minor, in 3/2, this choir has 35 bars with eight voices; in front of each part, Gounod noted the required number of people, 1600! for the concerts of the Royal Albert Hall in London in May-June 1872. It was published in the first book (n° 9) of the choirs of the Royal Albert Hall concerts (London, Rudall, Carte & Co).
