With a gentle gesture, she gathers her dress, revealing her graceful, shapely legs, which harmonise with the delicacy of her smooth bust and her fine features. In a manner typical of modernist art, the carver plays with the curved forms of the folds of the dress, which in turn dialogue with the sinuous fall of the wavy hair.
