From a painting by Louis Tonque, now in the Museum of Marseilles; the Count of Saint Florentin was as well Marquess then Duke of La Vrillière; Minister of the King's household; Minister of Foreign Affairs; Commandeur-secrétaire des Ordres du Roi; Chancellor and Keeper of the Seals of the Order of the Saint-Esprit.
