Wiggling, head turned to the right, left shoulder loaded with a shell. Netsuke in carved ivory. Japan. Second half of the 18th century. Dimensions : 1,5 x 7 x 1 cm. Weight : 16 g. Not signed. Condition : No accident. It is generally not possible to export such items outside the EU, including to the UK. Please note that, according to EU regulations in force since January 19, 2022, all items carved from elephant ivory before 1947 must be accompanied by a CITES permit for legal trade issued by the Ministry. For this reason, any sale of such an item can only be concluded after the permit has been obtained. All payments made prior to the issuance of the permit will be held until the permit application is approved. Please note that, in accordance with European regulations, the issuance of the permit may take up to three months. If the permit is refused, or not granted after 3 months, payment will be returned to the client immediately.
