Object realized in an ivory fragment of elephantiasis spp (I/A), specimen said pre-convention prior to 1947 and in view of its antiquity prior to June 1, 1947, its commercial use in the EU is allowed as well as on the French national territory in accordance with the ministerial decree of May 4, 2017, relating to the prohibition of trade in elephant ivory. However, a CITES re-export application will be required for any buyer who wishes to export it outside the EU after the sale.
