Divided into three parts concerning health, useful things and pure pleasure, it offers various recipes related to cooking and eating. One finds in the second part (p. 97 to 236) "the way to make carrot jam, chocolate cream, meat jelly", to "preserve fresh game from the beginning of Lent until Easter", grapes and all kinds of fruits, to "cook vegetables without water to keep all their taste...".
