First edition of this famous burlesque poem in four songs, in praise of salami; the different types are described in abundance: cotechino, salami di fegato di Ferrara, zampone di Modena, salami all'aglio di Firenze, Lucca and Verona, cervellato di Milano, mortadella di Bologna, etc., and are exposed the best ways to cook them. The author was a native of Ferrara (1736-1800). Modern bookplate. Soiled and rubbed boards. Simon, 1342 - B.IN.G., 852.
