LITERATURE. Set of 21 documents. AICARD Jean (1848-1921) 3 autograph letters signed, Paris, Toulon, August 4 [18]76, September 24 [18]76 and (s.d.) 4 pp. in-8. On August 4, about La Chanson de l'enfant "I receive today a letter from Camille Doucet who officially announces me the prize awarded by the [French] Academy to my volume. (...) I would have liked, before my departure, to see the first drawing.... promised for this time (...)", on September 24 to Claudius Popelin, he announces "I have the greatest impatience to see what you have done for me (...) I have just written to Prunaire and to the publisher, in order to press him. I will not be in Paris until the end of October. My first visit will be for you (...)" (n.d.) to the same, he evokes his work "As for the format of the book, the publisher is definitely sticking to the one of the edition that you have in hand (...)" he continues by evoking the typography, and other questions related to the publication of the work; ANOUILH Jean (1910-1987) autograph letter signed, in Switzerland (n.d.) 1 p. folio.
