Joseph van BREDAEL (Antwerp 1688 - Paris 1739) attributed to Entrance to a village with convoy and characters Oil on copper (old yellowed and dirty varnish) Monogrammed I B at the bottom left 19,3 x 27 cm On the reverse side an old label from a public sale catalog gives the painting to Jan Brueghel de Velours (1568 - 1625) under the title The Entrance to a Village on a Market Day and describes the composition accurately. Wooden frame and gilded stucco in the Louis XIV style (accidents and missing parts)
