Draft treaty with the director of the Théâtre National for his upcoming plays. "One thousand francs of premium by signing - one thousand francs on the other work by handing over the manuscript of this one - that is, from Clichy [La Barrière Clichy], on February 5 at the latest and rather if it is convenient to Mr Dumas. Five hundred francs to Mr. MAQUET for the works of which he will be. These 500 F are payable at every 30 performances of each work. [...] Ordinary rights of the theater - share above three thousand five hundred francs. The commitment of Laferriere for the duration of my treaty. Three manuscripts out of four deliverable in the year - Barrière Clichy, Montecristo, Napoleon in Egypt. The fourth one will be discussed between Mr. Billon and me - I would like the Crusades".
