Cellier, 1694. - In-12, dark brown morocco, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, ornate ribbed spine, gilt lace inside, gilt edges (Brany). First edition of this comedy attributed to Michel Chilliat, featuring some of the main characters of Italian comedy such as Harlequin, Mezzetin, Pierrot, Colombine, etc. Copy with the last leaf in second state, i.e. including the name and address of Nicolas Leclerc as seller of the tunes of this comedy (Briffaud, "Répertoire du théâtre français imprimé au XVIIe siècle", 9430). A fine copy despite the rubbed hinges and corners.
