Very beautiful edition, sought after for the quality of the engravings it contains. It is illustrated with a frontispiece engraved by Tardieu after J. B. Piauger, and 48 plates of which 9 after Gravelot, 28 after Saint-Aubin, 3 after Eisen and 4 after Bolomey. The remaining 4 are not signed. The plates 35, 39 and 46 are folding. A very nice copy bound by Bozérian. Several browned leaves. Provenance: A. Perreau, with ex-libris and autograph signature.
