Richard, followed by two volumes on the progress of physical and natural sciences by M. le baron Cuvier. Paris : Baudouin frères, N. Delangle, 1826-1828. - 34 volumes in-8, grey half-basane, smooth spine decorated, yellow and speckled edges (period binding). Edition printed by Jules Didot, illustrated with a portrait of Buffon on the frontispiece of the first volume, three folding maps and 197 plates, 191 of which are in color. One plate seems to be missing in volume 12. Brunet announces 200 plates . A good copy in contemporary binding. Some wear and tear. Some foxing.
