One of the most beautiful books illustrated by Grandville, containing, in the first edition, a frontispiece printed on China paper, four frontispiece titles and 450 woodcut vignettes in the text or on full page. The edition begins with a long note on Swift by Walter Scott. A very fine copy bound by Bretault, with good margins. Tears without missing restored to the frontispiece. Scattered foxing.
