printed in red and spine preserved, untrimmed (binding by Semet & Plumelle).
First edition, printed at 300 copies, on Van Gelder laid paper. It has been
printed with the complicity of Romain Rolland who managed to finance the edition without the
the shady author.
First book of André Suarès (1868-1948). He had most of the copies destroyed, even opposing
to the one-act play being staged at the Théâtre de l'OEuvre by Lugné-Poe.
