Syriac dagger, beautiful concave-edged blade with guilloche back, 185mm long. Blade mounted with flat sole, two gold painted horn plates held in place by three beds of two silver pins. The sole plate of the blade is hidden under a brass sheet engraved with a scroll and foliage pattern. The two symmetrical plates form a protection in relief for a piece of bone engraved a red stone imitating a button of riveting.
