Biography: Louis-Sextius Jarente de La Bruyère (1706-1788) Bishop of Digne (1747) then of Orléans (1758), he was in charge of the reconstruction of the cathedral of Orléans, he was a very worldly man, close to the Duke of Choiseul. Appointed minister of the leaf of the benefits, he deals with the attributions of the ecclesiastical benefits from 1757 to 1771.
