1932 RENAULT VERVASPORT COACH

"1932 RENAULT NERVASPORT COACH Only two known examples Very nice condition To be registered in collection At Renault, the "Nerva" appeared in 1930, corresponding to the eight-cylinder range, completing the Reinastella before succeeding them: luxury cars, intended for a clientele eager for comfort. However, in 1932 Renault extrapolated a lighter and shorter version, the Nervasport. This one distinguishes itself during endurance races: at the Monte Carlo 1933, one of the three Nervasports just misses the second place, making equal game with more prestigious brands. The car houses a 4.2-liter, 110-horsepower inline 8-cylinder engine under its long hood. In 1935, a modified Nervasport beat the 48-hour record at Montlhéry at an average speed of 168 km/h. The model we are presenting is interesting in every way. there would be no more than 32 models manufactured during the period of the big Renault bodies. Only two models are known to date, the second one being in the Renault classic collection. The coach presented for sale is in very good condition both in terms of bodywork and upholstery. The interior in red fabric, typical of the period of the car interiors of the 1930's, invites you to take a ride in a driving position where you can dominate the road not without pleasure. A mechanical revision will be necessary for the future buyer. This is a rare car for sale that we offer, eligible for the major elegance events.
