1990 CITROEN 2CV6 CHARLESTON

"1990 CITROEN 2CV6 CHARLESTON Serial number VF7AZKA00KA369706 1st hand In its original condition Engine replaced less than 2000kms ago On September 12, 1980, Citroën's public relations department announced the limited edition "2CV Charleston" with a lot of press releases and press conferences. On the stand at the Paris Motor Show, Citroën placed a number of models dressed very short with pearl dresses and a boyish haircut. This is obviously what best symbolizes the "Charleston" period. This name is that of a dance born in the city of Charleston in South Carolina in the USA. It was introduced in France in 1925 by the "Revue Nègre" led by Josephine Baker at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées. Originally planned for a limited series of 8,000, this model was a huge success. And the initial limited series will quickly become a full-fledged finish. The model we present here belongs to the same family since its purchase in 1990. Always maintained, the car is accompanied by an important file of invoices attesting to its regular follow-up. The engine was replaced less than 2000 kilometers ago and is working properly. The car is in its original condition with a very clean interior, its period radio and a soft top in good condition. The two-tone Charleston red/black paint has faded a bit over the years and would need to be repainted. The chassis shows some minor rust and can be easily treated. Some mechanical work is required to get a valid technical control. This model is, therefore, a real opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable finishes of the mythical 2CV at a very interesting price to give it back its former glory. You will not be able to resist the urge to open the hood of this car to discover the roads of France aboard the one that best symbolizes it.
