1962 RENAULT DAUPHINE

1962 Renault Dauphine Serial number : 6068456 Important file of invoices Nice aesthetic and mechanical condition Technical control empty French title The Renault Dauphine is the sedan produced by the French manufacturer to replace the previous 4CV. The name "Dauphine" was given to it because the 4CV was still in the lead of the sales. This small car with a rear engine placed in an overhang was marketed in France, the United States, Spain, Italy and even Argentina. In total, more than 2 million units were sold worldwide between 1956 and 1970, almost twice as many as the 4CV. With a body partly signed Ghia, the Dauphine will know several variations, in particular a Gordini version, the Ondine or the Dauphine 1093 (a homologated race version). Mechanically, the Dauphine is powered by an 835 cc in-line 4-cylinder engine. What is sure is that this little typically French car will continue to make people happy. This beautiful 1962 Dauphine comes with a beautiful red interior contrasting with an off-white paint on the outside. Its chrome is sparkling and this car comes with its original roof rack in the same color as the paint. Everything works on this car and one turn of the key will show you that. While we are used to seeing rusty, stripped and abandoned Dauphines, this charming beauty is not. So don't hesitate to treat yourself to a true icon of 1960s France.
