MASEARATI QUATTROPORTE IV

MASERATI QUATTROPORTE An unusual sedan V6 engine The Maserati Quattroporte IV is, as its name suggests, the fourth generation of the Italian sedan. It precedes the 5th generation with its rounder and more modern shape, the one that everyone dreamed of when they saw the movie "Untouchable". Produced between 1994 and 2001 in Modena, Italy, only 2,883 units were produced. If you are familiar with its design, it is because the drawing comes from its little sister, the Ghibli II (drawing by Marcelo Gandini). Note that it is the smallest Quattroporte produced by the trident manufacturer. In short, this car is a concentrate of comfort and agility. Three engines will be available: the smallest, a 2.0L V6 with 287 horsepower (intended for the Italian market), the second is also a V6, but this time with a displacement of 2.8L for a power of 284 horsepower, and the last will be a 3.2L V8 with 335 horsepower. The car we are presenting today is a Maserati Quattroporte IV. The car is in a good general condition for its age. The car has not been damaged and the bodywork and paint are still correct. Inside, a nice patina accompanies the beige upholstery. Some parts of the car are not so young anymore, like the dashboard, and need a little refurbishment. Under the hood, the V6 will need an overhaul in order to take to the road without a hitch. Of course, it turns and the car can still be driven on the road. So if the desire for an unusual sedan tickles your fancy, let yourself be tempted by this Italian with a nervous temperament!
