Auguste PEYROULA Silver and vermeil beauty case (800/1000) covered with enamel in imitation of lapis lazuli. The lid applied with a polychrome marquetry of representing an oriental squatting and the angles decorated with a rose-cut diamond. It opens on a mirror in the lid, two compartments with and a lipstick holder mounted in the center. The push button is set with six rose-cut diamonds. Numbered 21 12 French work of the 1920s (head of a horse). Hallmark of the jeweler Auguste Peyroula, in Paris Size: 7.7 x 5.2 x 1.4 cm - Gross weight: 186.7 g (slight dents) Auguste Peyroula is a Parisian goldsmith who practiced between 1904 and 1937. He specializes in the creation of necessary and precious pieces such as snuffboxes, bonbonnières or powder boxes in silver or vermeil often enamelled and enhanced with stone.
