Porcelain cup and saucer, Meissen, c. 1730. Hemispherical form on a stand ring. Slightly flared rims. The walls of the vessel have a sea-green background, the saucer is decorated with Indian painting in polychrome onglaze colors. Flowering plants, partly with bird and insect. Gold dots. Indian flower in the cup's base. Brown rim lines. Stand rings gilded. Sword mark, collection no. 32, shaper's mark (Schumann) on the standing ring of the coupler inside. Stand ring UT min. chip.
