Tureen with lid on serving tray. Brussels. Third phase. To be attributed to Jacques Artoisenet. Second half of the 18th century. Shaped like a cabbage, decorated with butterflies in various stages of life. Lidknob shaped like a dog. At the bottom of the tureen four stand-alone leaves. Earthenware. Copper-green, yellow, blue, olive-green and black enamel. Tray with crack and chipped edges. Tureen with chips at the upper edge. Lidknob glued. Provenance and certificate: E.J.G. Loncke, Roeselare, 18.4.1980, n° 764, as workshop widow Mombaers, c. 1750-1760 24.5 x 25.5 cm (Diam.: 33.5 cm (schotel/ plat))
